Questions and Answers
Q: What’s the difference between the IBS Package and the low FODMAP Package?
A: The Low FODMAP Diet Package is designed specifically for those people who want to follow a low FODMAP diet, which is taught in three phases, whereas the Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Package is for those who have been diagnosed with IBS but really don’t know which foods, or food components, are causing their symptoms.
Comparing IBS & Low FODMAP Packages
| Feature | IBS Package (Strategic Elimination) | Low FODMAP Package (Low-FODMAP Elimination) |
|---|---|---|
| Best For… | Identifying specific foods and types of foods that trigger symptoms | Identifying Low-FODMAP food triggers through a structured 3-phase protocol. |

| Meals | Meals can be designed around your specific needs | Strict Low FODMAP plans for Phase 1, moving toward expansion. |

Q: I just got diagnosed with SIBO… can you help?
A: Yes, I can. In fact, before you start the antibiotics is the best time to start the Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) Package, although some people do start while on them.
Q: I was told that I have celiac and was just given a printout… is that enough?
A: Unfortunately, for many, a handout is all they get, and it doesn’t explain all the other things they need to know for setting up a gluten-free kitchen, eating out at restaurants, and shopping for food. In fact, a number of my clients have taken the Celiac Disease Management Package after still having symptoms after trying to figure it out on their own.
